Rayden Engineering is a leading Mechanical and Civil Engineering contractor specialising in the design, fabrication and installation of pipeline systems, Above Ground Installations (AGIs), and infrastructure projects within the oil, gas and utility sectors.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter / Coater to join our fabrication and engineering team.

• Preparing steelwork, pipework and fabricated components for coating
• Shot blasting, sanding and surface preparation
• Applying industrial paints, coatings and protective finishes
• Working from technical drawings and coating specifications
• Mixing paints and coatings to required standards
• Ensuring quality and thickness requirements are met
• Carrying out inspections and touch-up work where required
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Supporting fabrication and workshop teams when required

• Previous experience as an Industrial Painter, Coater or Paint Sprayer
• Experience working within engineering, fabrication, structural steel or pipework environments
• Knowledge of industrial coating systems and surface preparation techniques
• Ability to work to high quality standards
• Strong attention to detail
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Reliable with a positive, team-focused attitude

• Experience with airless spraying equipment
• Knowledge of protective coatings for oil, gas or utility infrastructure
• ICATS qualification (advantageous but not essential)
• Experience working with structural steelwork and large fabricated assemblies
